Executive Function (EF) coaching helps children and teens build the mental skills needed for focus, organization, emotional regulation, and independence. These executive function skills—like planning, time management, working memory, and self-control—are often areas of difficulty for individuals with ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder).
ADHD can impact attention, impulse control, organization, and self-regulation, making it harder for children to manage daily routines, learning, and communication. Through personalized EF coaching, children learn how to break larger tasks into smaller steps, set achievable goals, manage their time effectively, and develop self-awareness.
Our approach emphasizes practical, real-world strategies that can be applied at home, school, and in the community. The ultimate goal is to help your child gain the tools, confidence, and independence needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Speech-language pathologists support individuals with ADHD by improving language organization, working memory, self-monitoring, and social communication skills. Therapy may focus on helping clients express ideas clearly, follow directions, manage conversations, and use strategies for focus and planning. Through individualized, strengths-based intervention, clients build confidence, independence, and effective communication across home, school, and community settings.
Progress happens outside of therapy as well. We get parents, carers, and teachers involved to make sure that skills are practiced at home and school.
We start by looking at your child's strengths and weaknesses in speech, language, and communication.
We work with families to set meaningful and doable goals that will help their children grow in their ability to communicate and interact with others.
Parents get regular updates and tips on how to help their child practise skills outside of therapy.
Our team has extensive experience supporting children with autism and tailoring therapy to meet their needs.
We create a warm, welcoming space where children feel comfortable to learn, play, and growing.
No two children are alike, and neither are our therapy plans. Each program is designed to maximize your child’s progress.
